Since I mainly play one class per season and softcore only, this season's conquests look like this for me: Thus far, there have always been at least 3 conquests that were manageable for my amount of time and commitment, but this season seems to be different.
The main hurdle, as I'm sure will be shocking to nobody, were the conquests. It's the difference between thinking this conquest is impossible and learning it within 5 hours, and never failing it again.Here's the situation: Since season 19, I've started to play the season again and so far I've always managed to complete the full seaosn journey for the pet and everything else. Rather, run problematic sections until they're no longer problematic. Do not try running the entire campaign all at once. You wouldn't try to memorize a speech by trying to learn the entire thing all at once. That's only detrimental to learning the campaign. There's no need to spend another 57+ minutes running it, if it's obvious by then that you have 0 shot at completing it.
Typically, I can tell you within 3 minutes of starting the campaign if you're going to complete it successfully or not. And sure, there are people who can be over those times and still make it, but those people also don't need luck to complete the 1 hour campaign conquest. I can't tell you how many times I've run with people who were clearly over, but kept on pushing, because what if they just got lucky.
If you're even 1 second over any of those times, just stop. So, I think the biggest mistake you made is continuing when it was obvious you had zero shot at the conquest.įor people who are trying the 1 hour conquest, I suggest Starlite's Time Record.
